        As the world's most widely used Multibody Dynamics (MBD) software, Adams helps engineers to study the dynamics of moving parts, how loads and forces are distributed throughout mechanical systems. 

        EDEM, the leading discrete element modeling (DEM) tool, provides high fidelity representation of loads acting on industrial equipment by simulating the behavior of bulk materials such as coal, soil, ores, and grains. 

        Combining Adams and EDEM solvers in a co-simulation environment enables engineers to realistically model the motion of equipment as it interacts with a bulk material and examine how material loads are transferred throughout their mechanical system. Designs can be virtually tested for a wide range of materials types and equipment maneuvers.
